Jon Par (Jonathan Parisen) is a filmmaker, painter and photographer who lives and works in New York City. As a filmmaker Parisen has directed four feature films and a number of short and minimalist films. He also worked for Time Warner as a television reporter and producer. Parisen has taken thousands of photographs and since 2007 has made over a hundred paintings, hundreds of ink and pencil drawings and hundreds of pastel drawings. His work has been featured in galleries across the New York City area.
